I took my son to the dentist. They did xrays and cleaned his teeth. I signed a receipt saying that I had a $0 balance for the visit. 2 days later I get a bill saying that I owe them for the xrays because the insurance didnt pay. If I would have had to pay for them I would not have got them. (they were not necessary and the receptionist said it was just for their files)
I did call them and she said they didnt know why insurance didnt cover them but I have to pay $180. Do I?
if some of you guys read correctly I signed a piece of paper saying I had a ZERO balance which means they told me insurance covered it.
NO WAY!......and tell them,...why you are not paying, as you did here,...if they continue to bill you, file a complaint with the better business bureau or consumers complaint dept in your area...OR tell the dentist office, you will be calling the "help line" at "channel 12" or whatever your area tv is, (they all have help lines, for situations like this) that should be enough to shut them up, as they dont want any public problems, and you dont want it on your credit.
Doctors do this all the time. Its ridiculous. Just follow thru on it and dont give in.
Do not lose that receipt you signed in the office for that day, that clearly shows a zero balance. Always ask what is covered , what is not.....
You say the xrays were not necessary?? ...they wanted for their file?? They shouldve checked with insurance before they took pics for their files.
i've found out recently, most xrays are not necessary at all, if your teeth and gums are generally healthy there is no need.

Sold an item on amazon and now the buyer says they want a refund because it was wrong item...?
I sold a video game on amazon.com and shipped it out a couple days later. Now I just got an email by the customer (buyer) telling me they want a refund of the game because "It was the wrong game I order" they said. Now I don't understand what they mean by this because I shipped the EXACT game they purchased. There was no mistake on my end. He got what he paid for. I even checked and double checked the listing to make sure I had listed my game under the right system, game, etc.
I honestly think they just didn't like the game, didn't need it anymore (got it for a few quick xbox achievements) or thought they were buying the Wii version and actually got the Xbox version.
Is there any protection as a seller against this? Is a seller obligated to refund an item because of a buyer's purchase mistake?

3. kill him and take his stuff and your game.

I looked up avg free as my antivirus just expired.I went to the site of the latest version.Avg free 9.0 However,when I got into the page there was no option whatever for a free version.It has you sign up then takes you to a page with different pay options,but nothing free at all.The main site says avgfree.Even in the site it says that it`s a free version.Where`s the free?I finally went to an older version to download.
I think AVG 8.0 is the newest for the free version... don't think there's a 9.0 free.
Should just go to the free AVG site and click on the left option (says free basic protection), then click on the column that says free instead of $30 or however much it costs. Think it says download now.

i was supposed to go on leave yesterday to see my family and loved ones before i deploy for afghanistan but my travel agency kinda screwed me over on a ticket. does anyone have suggestions as to sites that have a "fly now, pay later" policy? or suggestions on sites with EXTREMELY low airfares for international flights(germany to us)? thanks for your help
If you are trying to leave so soon, you won't find 'extremely' low fares. . . especially Germany to US. AND, the only "fly now, pay later" programs I know about are handled through credit cards of some sort. Besides, trying to find those kind of 'quick and cheap' deals only causes more headaches. The better thing to do would be to get a reliable flight. Just charge it to your credit card. If you are deploying you will be able to pay it off in no time.

No. You cannot get perfect costumes of Vader or Troopers from any website. They sell some that look decent, but are nowhere near good enough.
