If a seller shows an image of their product on ebay?

I'm looking to buy a PS3 controller on ebay. Some of the sellers on there show images of official PS3 controllers. Now my question is that if I bought a controller from a seller that had an image of a official PS3 controller but it turns out to be a fake what can I do about this?

It really depends on what details the seller puts in his listing. Most reputable sellers on Ebay will specifically state whether or not you are getting what is pictured so people like you can't do a damn thing if it wasn't what you were expecting. If the seller does not say whether or not you get what is pictured, its best to avoid them entirely instead of taking a chance just to save a few measley bucks. Same goes for people who use a stock photo instead of the actual product. No, you can't do anything if they say in the listing you aren't getting what's in the stock photo. Its kinda like people who sell links to electronic wholesaler lists for $.99. They usually use a PS3 or a big screen TV for the photo because its an example of what you could get for cheap if you buy access to the list. However, they aren't actually selling a PS3 or a big screen TV (and they usually do a very good job telling you that in the listing with big & bold colored letters or something).

does it violate the copyrights of a cd when music is copied from a cd to MP3 Player?

I don't like theft. Even if it is something so small. I'm not honestly sure if this is theft or a violation of the copyrights or if it would be a form of piracy. I buy my cd's and I put them on my MP3 player then I'm done with the CD it self. So now what do I do with the CD? I usually give them to a friend of mine she will listen to them in her car. No violations here. You bought the cd, so it yours to do as you wish. If you sold the cd you are within your rights. Long as you are not making a profit by cutting your own cd and using the artist songs as your own. But I will admit copyrights law are tricky. At the federal courthouse I work at there was a trial. If the bride and groom have any sense at all, then they know how expensive it is to be in a wedding party. Help with my AO in Second Life?

Hi, so im in need of some help. I bought 'The Perfect Lady AO' from vista animations and co. Iv'e got the hud set up and all was working well, and still is working well apart from when i go to this particular region, which is now my home. It was working fine there the other week, and by working fine i mean, turning off and on, so i could use animation balls and dance ball's etc. However, now when i click on AO off button it say's it's off but the animation stays on my avatar. I've looked in 'worn' items and detached it, but it still animates me. If i go to another region, it turns off fine and on fine. I just don't know why it wont turn off at my home? Does the sim need resetting? Any help would be greatly appreciated, i have been racking my brains trying to find an answer. thank you

Theres a couple of things going on here - and its going to take some trial and error to determine the actual cause of the glitch.

First, if you are now renting the land you are on, I would assume you have permission to run scripts on that particular parcel or region (Check the top and make sure you are not seeing any script error signs). If you are seeing a script error sign in the top tool bar, theres 1 of 2 things happening.

1. You do not have permissions to run scripts on this particular region. (if that is the case, contact the region owner or the person you rent from and ask for permissions).
2. Your scripted object is going bug-shit. (Pardon the language). If that is the case, detach your HUD. Reset your Scripts in the HUD.

If you do not know how:1. Highlight transparent. (Hold down ctrl+ alt + T to highlight invisible items, most things will turn red.)
2. Turn on your build menu. (Right click on any object around you and select "Edit", this will bring up the build menu. )
3. Now Rez your HUD in world, by dragging it from your inventory to the ground in world, you will see the arrows around the hud and it will be red because you have highlight transparent on.
4. Go to the tools menu and reset the scripts in your HUD. It will open up a new window, and you will see it resetting the scripts.

Once its finished, you should be able to pick up your HUD, (Right Click, Take) and re attach it to your avatar from your inventory.

If this does not resolve the issue, then you may need to ask someone to restart the sim. If restarting the sim does not work, I would recommend contacting Vista Animations and telling them your problem (most creators will issue a new one as long as you show some efforts to resolve the issue on your own).
