i am 12 years old. i started ballet classes wen i was 2. when i was 5 i stopped and started taking modern, technique and creative movement classes. i did those till 5th grade. over da summer between 5th and 6th grade i took a ballet class, a modern class, and a technique class. in 6th grade i took a modern class. now i am in 7th grade i take 1 modern class 1 jazz class 2 ballet classes and a rehearsal.
i am not yet on pointe because i only started taking these ballet classes in early october. half of my class is already on pointe. our whole class is supposed to be en pointe in our Performance in may. when do you think i will get to start pointe? should i buy pointe shoes now? i want to go on pointe really badly!
also, i am going to sign up for another ballet class but at another studio, should i sign up for a pointe class?

I know you probably have been working really hard trying to get ready for pointe. Before you go off and buy pointe shoes talk to your ballet teacher make sure you are ready for pointe. I know I was really anxious to go on pointe to. I can't say If I think you are ready for pointe because I haven't seen you dance. Hope you make on pointe!!!

Okay, I'm just a middle-school student that does not have a credit card but have money.
I have money but the thing is, I don't have a credit (debit) card. I want to buy Vampire Knight volume 10 because the bookstore close by only has it to volume 8 and I want to get the latest volumes before I get the not-so-latest ones. I could only get it on ebay and it's a chuing yi version though. I have looked up online and the chuing yi version is different from the Shojo Beat ver. And that the Shojo Beat version is better than the Chuing Yi ver. I'm now having second thoughts about buying it right now, actually.

This is a long story but a summery of it is that I live with 4 people one of these people has had everything fed to him with a silver spoon so he has no idea what the value of money is. While everyone else I live with has to work to pay the bills. This person used to turn the AC down to 50 degrees and I always end up having to be the bad guy in these situations so I told him that he can't turn the AC down to 50 degrees because it will NEVER shut off, so a few weeks later (being today) he decides that he is going to buy an AC unit, now keep in mind that he leaves lights on all the time, does laundry every day, uses the dish washer every day his ecological foot print is astronomical, he bought his own refrigerator because he eats like a horse so our electricity bill is going to be ridiculous (we have not got one yet). So my question is: Since he is going to have an AC unit in his room, should he pay more for the electricity bill?

What do you do if something you buy on the net doesn't arrive?
I think I might be taken for a ride by an online retailer. I bought some furniture from them, and paid with paypal. After chasing the order the retailer came back saying he will deliver it the following week, when it didn't arrive, I put more pressure on him and he promised to have it delivered today (Tuesday) - more than a week after purchase. Yesterday a delivery company I've never heard of phoned to ask if they can deliver, then they rang today to say they didn't receive the item until late and can only deliver on Thursday now, my feeling is that something is up... unfortunately I only then went and researched the company, and it has some bad reviews from customers saying the items don't arrive, and refunds arent given.
What is my right as a consumer if a product doesn't arrive, and how long should I wait from the date of placing an order before I can report a company?
If goods are not delivered on time
The seller must deliver your goods by the agreed date. If no date was agreed, the seller must deliver within 30 days of the order being placed.
The seller should let you know if the goods can't be delivered on time. If you don't want to give the seller more time, the trader should reimburse within 30 days.
If the date for delivery has passed and you haven't received anything, treat it as though you had never placed the order. If you have already paid, demand a full refund.

How does your credit score get affected by opening multiple lines of credit for "no payment no interest" deals
I currently have a credit score of 794. I have never been late on any payment of anything. I carry 0 revolving debt (12 open lines), installment loans are paid (3 open lines), my only debt being a mortgage that I owe around $87,000 for.
I however, am soon going to be making several purchases. I will probably be opening about 5-6 revolving accounts in order to take advantage of "No payment no interest for X years" deals. The plan, as with what I've done in the past, is to pay off the balance in a lump sum a month before it is due, while investing the money the previous months.
Will this negatively affect my credit with all of these open credit lines at once? Would I be better off just paying cash outright? The last purchase I made was $4,000 in landscaping that only cost me about $3,000 because I had invested the $4,000 elsewhere for over a year until the bill became due.
I would like to continue this practice, but not in a way that would affect my credit score too much.

Does the effort of buying comic books on a monthly basis put you off from buying them?
Comic Books, the periodical or magazine variety, are published on a frequent basis ranging from weekly to quarterly. Whole stories usually require buying multiple issues. The whole story can be later collected up in to graphic novels (also referred to as trade paperbacks).
Monthly comic books generally have more ads per capita than the graphic novel. Some retailers require establishing a pull list or even paying for the monthly comics in advance, to ensure getting all the monthly comic books containing a story.
Not really. Every month my store has a list of upcoming titles. I check off the ones I want and they get pulled for me, so all I have to do is go to the store and pick them up every week. Since the comic book store is in the same area as a lot of shopping, I just run my errands that evening and get everything done while I'm out.
What drives me nuts is waiting to see how the cliffhanger ends. That and sometimes titles slip, so I have to wait more than a month for the next issue.

I was thinking of buying a digital camera right now. Maybe a Casio or Sony or Canon for about 200 or 250. Are there going to be newer and better cameras out in the following weeks or are most of the ones at stores now new. New compact digital cameras are introduced all the time, so any camera you buy will be outdated within a year (unless you buy a dSLR which are updated every 1.5 to 2 years). So don't think of it this way when you're in the market for a new camera. Just buy something that you are happy with and you'll be find. Most cameras nowadays are pretty good. Make sure to read reviews on dpreview.net and other review sites.
