A few weeks ago it was my mum and dads 25th wedding anniversary and i organised a party for them and gave them a little present each. I had ordered something off a website but it was out of stock and is still out of stock so i have cancelled the order now. What should i do for them? I need to get them a joint present of some sort, i know its late but they understand as i told them they would get it when i got paid and i have now been paid. I was thinking maybe treating them to a weekend away but i don't know where to. We live in the UK and my mum isn't allowed to fly so can't be too far.

Should i walk away from Kleeneze now before its too late?
Hi i have been working for kleeneze 5 days. Got my 200 catalogues which i paid £134 for. Put them out ALL day saturday. Took them in ALL day Monday we are still collecting them today. Got 90 quid worth of orders but i take 21% of that. So i get about 20 quid. We don't have a car so we done it all by walking. I live in a very steep area where it is all hills and i have two young kids, one is still in a pram. I have a 14 day money back promise but i only get £74 back. Am i better just cancelling after i put the orders out. i would post a letter tomorrow to make sure it gets there in time. Just feel really conned by them. We have to pay for all the carrier bags etc. A stupid phone line which i get charged for but this all comes off the trader account which is a credit agreement of £500. And we get charged the delivery. So who has had experience of the kleeneze crew and did ti work for you??

I have never known Kleeneze or other catalogue sales schemes to work out well for anyone. I know a few people who have tried and like you have struggled with sales, I think you have to put in a lot of hours and actually get very little back in return. Its hard work and not very profitable. I also know that the staff turnover is huge because of this problem, they sell the job to you and you feel enthusiastic and keen but soon come back down to earth with a bang. There are very few people it works for, you would have to build up regular clients over time but in the mean time you dont make money. I would cut my losses now if I were you before your in too deep and end up working merely to pay them back. Sorry couldnt be more positive, but you see yourself you have basically earned £20 for 3 days work and you still have to do the orders and then make them up when they come and then deliver them so you have at least another days work to do for that £20.
